Lynne Norlund
QUALIFIED THERAPIST:
WORKS WITH ADULTS, TEENS, CHILDREN & FAMILES
About Me
Hello, I’m Lynne a qualified therapist and registered with the BACP (MBACP). What I have learned through my work and life in general is that we all go through stuff and sometimes we need a bit of help. That’s what I’m here for.
I’m proud of you for taking the first step into therapy. That first one is often the most challenging.
Specialist interest
I love involving arts and crafts in my work with both adults and children but honestly we as people are fascinating and I’m always willing to learn. So I guess people are my specialist interest.
Clinical experience
I have over fifteen years experience of working with adults and children with a wide range of issues. More recently I have started seeing couples. I use different approaches and techniques, including journaling, grounding and mindfulness.
Clinical Approaches
My Main theoretical approach is Person Centre/Humanistic however we are all different and we work in different ways so I integrate other approaches including CBT, TA and Psycho education.
Qualifications
NFCE Diploma in Counselling and psychotherapy
Teesside Hospice certificate in adult bereavement
Teesside Hospice certificate in child bereavement
Certificate in Couples therapy
Certificate in life coaching
What are you passionate about?
People and working along side them in order for them to be the best that they can be. I’m a total advocate of the LBGTQ+ community.
If you are taking this step to better mental health then I am willing to work with you. The first step is often the hardest, well done for taking it.
